Ohio State Rallies Past Iowa to Stay in Rose Bowl Hunt

After a little scare, Ohio State is still smelling roses.

The No. 8 Buckeyes erased a touchdown deficit in the fourth-quarter to survive No. 21 Iowa 20-17.

In the closing minutes, Ohio State put together a 72-yard game-winning drive, capped by running back Dan Herron's one-yard run for the go-ahead score with 1:47 left of the clock.

The win keeps the Buckeyes in contention for the Big Ten's BCS spot in the Rose Bowl. Ohio State, Wisconsin and Michigan State all won Saturday, and are tied atop the Big Ten. If each team wins its final game, the spot will go to the team with the highest BCS ranking.

Terrelle Pyror threw for a touchdown and accounted for 273 total yards of offense to lead the Buckeyes. No. 8 Ohio State (10-1, 6-1) will host Michigan next Saturday in the annual rivalry game.

No 21 Iowa (7-4, 4-3) will head to Minnesota.
